In this reading response assignment, we had to refer to a section in our textbook and reflect on how to incorporate sources appropriately and ensure that we avoid plagiarism, even accidentally, as much as we can. After reflecting on the substance of the textbook section, we were then asked if we thought videos were a good form of media to use when writing a research paper. By using the information that I learned in the assigned text and my own personal thoughts, I was able to connect them together to give an answer that I was confident in. This displays me meeting the first outcome because I was able to understand the text, reflect on the information found in the text, and then used my own critical thinking and knowledge to supply an answer to a prompt that we had to answer.
