This outcome refers to the student's ability to make arguments that make sense and that matter in their scholarly conversation using their own primary data. This outcome was the hardest for me to achieve because this was my first time collecting my own data for a research paper. However, I did enjoy the process and I now have an understanding of how to collect and organize my own primary data. The two artifacts that I plan on using include generating claims discussion board and my final research paper. The generating claims discussion board post displays me making an argument for the information that I had collected and used in my final research paper, and the final research paper includes my primary research assignment, where I had actually collected my information. This outcome carries the most value for me because it has allowed me to grow and learn new skills that I will be able to carry to future courses.
